About Us

Fruit Islands Estate was founded by Dennis Lagan and Equinox Pinion. We are residents from Belgium and Switzerland and speak English, German, Dutch and some French.


History

We joined Second Life around February 2007 and got our first sim only one month after. We were initially searching for a parcel to build a house on but couldn't find anything we liked.

Just a few weeks later we got a second sim, named "Orange", which was developed for residential use, including houses. Fruit Islands was born. It brought ofcourse a huge learning experience, but from April 2007 till today Fruit Islands grew from 1 to over 150 sims!

We always put quality before profit, offer residents public places and leave spare prims on the public water for sailing.



Goals

Our goal is having beautiful and natural tropical land and an estate which offers more than just square parcels. By organising events like live musician acts, theatre, charity story telling, sailing lessons and much more, we also want to give our residents a community feeling...

We have been thinking for over a year to build a commercial sim which is special in its own way. But due to the fast growth of the sailing estate it is still on our "to do list."
